- Common Features
-
- The Personal System/2 Model 30 uses integration and advanced
- technology to combine existing PC functions along with newly
- integrated features such as a graphics adapter and parallel
- port into a new general-purpose computer that increases base
- function while reducing price. The system is based on an
- 8086 microprocessor, running at 8MHz, with no wait states to
- system memory. Performance is further enhanced through the
- use of a 16 bit wide data path to system memory. The result
- is an internal processing speed approximately comparable to
- the Personal Computer AT model 099 and approximately twice
- that of the 8088 based PC XT. All models have the following
- features:
-
- o 640K-byte random access memory (RAM), 16 bit wide data
- path to processor
- o Integrated diskette adapter supporting up to two
- 720K-byte drives

- this Data Migration Facility, to a new medium. No additional
-
- rights are granted to the user beyond those stated in the original
- IBM Program License Agreement. Therefore, use of an IBM program
- remains restricted to one machine at a time unless otherwise stated
- by IBM.
-
- B For non-IBM programs, the user should consult the applicable
- license agreement that governs its use or contact the program
- supplier to determine restrictions on copying.
-
- Since some programs are "copy protected" or may restrict the number
- of copies, the user has the responsibility to assure the copied
- program functions before erasing other copies of the program.
